1ST ANNUAL GRAND GREAT LAKES STEAMPUNK COTILLION,SYMPOSIUM, AND TEA SOCIAL:
With all the popularity of Steampunk, we have decided since a lot of us are also into the genre to host the First Grand Great Lakes Cotillion, Symposium, and Tea Social. And what is this you may ask? Instead of the normal Meet the pros event on Friday night, we've decided to jazz it up a bit with a steampunk motif. come dressed in your favorite victorian garb and Meet the pros who will be attending the con!!
Banquet:
This year we are planning a banquet for Saturday dinner. After which will be the GoH speech to start off the evening festivities. At our banquet you will have three choices for your dining pleasure:
1) Montreal Sirloin Steak (for all our Canadian fen): A top sirloin butt steak rolled in herbs and spices then charbroiled over an open flame with a port mushroom ragout
2) Chicken Blackhawk (great comic book): Swiss Gruyere cheese and delicately smoked ham in a blanket of Chicken breast; sauteed and then baked to perfection with a ppered tarragon sauce.
3) Vegetable Lasagna: Not much to say about this one.
All dinners are served with your choice of :
Minestrone Soup or a House Salad
Fresh warm rolls and butter
A vegetable garnish
A chef inspired Dessert
Fresh brewed coffee.
All this and more for only $25 per person!!
